Paul Beautyman lives in Dunoon and work as a youth advisor for Argyll presbytery, travelling around some great places and enjoying cooked breakfasts on the CalMac ferries. For two days a week I am based in Dunoon Grammar School and help run lunch clubs, sports clubs and school assemblies with other chaplains. A major project for us is organising, with SU, a youth camp for teenagers in Argyll.

Deep Impact are excited to welcome back Re:Hope and look forward to them leading us into worship at this year’s conference.
The Re:Hope worship team has grown up with the church, which was planted in 2005. The church is made up of people from multiple denominations, from Church of Scotland, Baptist, Brethren or Charismatic denominations, as well as those that have come to faith in our midst. Although their style is contemporary, their main concern is that our worship is authentic, biblical and brings honour and glory to God alone.
Andy Ashworth, the worship pastor at Re:Hope, has just released his second EP, “We Believe” which is available from www.andyashworth.co.uk
Dr. Rebecca Nye has been working in the field of children's spirituality as a researcher, consultant and practitioner since 1994. She is responsible for the introduction of “Godly Play” to the UK. Her landmark empirical study of children talking about their spirituality in their own terms (with David Hay) suggests spirituality in childhood is essentially relational in nature and function, but that it is also often subject to neglect and decline.
Wendy Strachan is an experienced practitioner in children's work and ministry and, as Scripture Union’s International Children’s Ministry Coordinator for the past five years, has been helping those involved with children's work to be thoughtful practitioners. It may be that as a children's worker you have never considered attending “Deep Impact” before. Now is your opportunity. With the joint main sessions enabling youth and children's workers to engage with God's call to be missional leaders, the seminar stream will enable us to reflect on this in a children's work context.
